About The Position

Aspire Charter Academy is seeking a K-5 ESE Certified Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, contract position is designed for dual certified teachers who possess both General Education and ESE Certification, with a focus on providing unique educational opportunities in a small charter school environment. The role includes support from a full-time paraprofessional in each classroom, enhancing the learning experience for students.

Requirements

• General Education and ESE Certification required.
• TESOL Certification or working towards it is preferred.
• Reading Endorsement or working towards it is required.
• 1 year of teaching experience in special education is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is required.

• Experience in a charter school setting.
• Additional certifications in special education or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach K-5 students in a charter school setting.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
