About The Position

DLH Academy is seeking a full-time K-4 Teacher to educate students in grades K-5 using a hands-on, interactive learning approach. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans tailored to students' needs, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience teaching elementary students preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Wisconsin teaching license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades K-5 using hands-on, interactive learning methods.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans based on student needs and development.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including storytelling, media, physical activity, indoor/outdoor games, drawing, music, and literacy.
• Collaborate with a team of teachers to create a respectful and inclusive learning community.
