  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with ASD, in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Design and deliver instructional lessons that are differentiated to meet the unique needs of each student, focusing on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to promote communication, social skills development, and independence among students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies and goals as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and emotional support for all students.
  • Collaborate effectively with other educators, therapists, and support staff to coordinate services and optimize student outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required.
  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (K-12) or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with young students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and other evidence-based practices for supporting students with ASD preferred.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
