About The Position

The K-16 Higher Education Solutions Analyst at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York (CUNY) is responsible for ensuring the seamless functionality and efficient processes of multiple technology systems, web services, and web applications. This role focuses on enhancing student experiences through the development of a universal online dual enrollment application, collaborating with various teams to support data gathering, analysis, and the implementation of technology solutions that align with CUNY's mission of providing high-quality education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Five years of related experience, including working with Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 and Oracle SQL.
• Proficiency in web services, APIs, and web application development.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience in systems integration, application development, or a similar techno-functional role.
• Strong understanding of database management systems and data quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with K16 education systems or community college processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand functional requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
• Design and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency and support the institution's mission.
• Integrate various software systems and related tools to ensure smooth operation and integration of technology systems.
• Work closely with developers and system administrators to implement and configure new or updated systems, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
• Facilitate change management processes related to application rollout, including training end-users and providing documentation.
• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions within applications and management cycles.
• Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address technical glitches.
• Perform database testing and data performance investigations to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security.
