About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Paraprofessional to support our evaluation team in administering student assessments. This role will focus on assisting evaluators by ensuring technology and materials are properly prepared, monitoring testing environments, and providing logistical support. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a school setting to facilitate smooth and efficient evaluation sessions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
Prior experience in an educational or testing environment is a plus.
Strong computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow directions, uphold confidentiality, and remain attentive in proctoring situations.

Responsibilities

Prepare laptops, tablets, and other devices required for testing.
Set up secure testing platforms/software and ensure internet connectivity.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues during assessments (with evaluator guidance).
Assist in maintaining a quiet, distraction-free testing environment.
Monitor student behavior to ensure standardized administration procedures.
Support evaluators in keeping testing materials secure and organized.
Assist evaluators in distributing and collecting materials.
Document and track testing accommodations as directed.
Provide clerical support such as note-taking, scheduling, and data entry.
Work under the direct supervision of the evaluator or assigned staff.
Communicate promptly about any issues that may disrupt testing.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
