About The Position
The Teacher effectively educates students in conformity with the school philosophy and policies and rules of the governing bodies. The role involves serving as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas, teaching all subjects following the school's course of study or as assigned, and utilizing technology and varying teaching modalities. The teacher is responsible for planning and executing instructional lesson plans, adapting and enriching the curriculum using multiple strategies and online tools to actively engage students in their learning for enrichment or remediation purposes. The position requires maintaining a positive school environment, issuing discipline in an orderly fashion, and keeping accurate records on each student such as grade books and progress reports.
