CCS K-12 Substitute Teacher
About The Position
Crosspoint Christian School is looking for a committed follower of Jesus who is called to Christian education and has experience integrating faith and learning in the classroom. This position will provide structured lessons, evaluate individual student progress, grade assignments, and cultivate an environment of positive social development. This job services two campuses - Bremerton and Poulsbo. As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission: living the Jesus-centered mission. Key qualifications include a character that reflects biblical godliness, a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and active involvement in a local body of Christian believers.

Responsibilities
- Use provided prepared lesson plans.
- Use a variety of teaching methodologies to create an engaging and safe classroom setting where all students are held to high expectations.
- Incorporate technology in meaningful ways into instruction and learning.
- Utilize Renweb for inputting all assignments, tests, quizzes, and projects promptly, using the grading scale provided by the school.
- Help maintain an accurate record of grades for each student.
- Use Microsoft TEAMS Assignments to document homework assignments and to communicate with students.
- Keep an accurate record of all attendance and tardiness for each student.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom to ensure maximum learning.
- Keep an accurate record of any communications with parents.
- Advise the administration when availability changes.
