About The Position

Cross Country Education is looking for passionate Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join a dedicated mental health cohort to create a safer, stronger school culture for the '25–'26 school year. This is your chance to move beyond a clinic and into the heart of the community, building lasting connections and empowering K-12 students to thrive! Position Overview: Deliver essential mental health support to K-12 students across various school sites through individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and focused check-ins. Implement proactive early intervention strategies and universal supports to create positive school climates, promoting resilience and pro-social behaviors among students. Lead the integration of sustainable, culturally competent, and developmentally appropriate mental health and suicide prevention / post-vention programs across the school site. Partner with educators and administrators to streamline the student referral process, identify students in emotional distress or in need of services, and refer students to appropriate school-based and community-based mental health services and crisis supports.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License (Required)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
