Requirements

• Master’s degree

Nice To Haves

• ABD or completed Doctorate
• Elementary and/or secondary school physical education teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Teach 1 - 9 credit hours and be available for consultation with students.
• Teach classes in Elementary and Secondary Physical Education sequence such as assessment, instructional methods and classroom management, and team and individual sport classes.
• Supervise field experiences as needed.
• Prepare course materials and lesson plans.
• Grade student work and provide robust feedback in a timely manner.
• Address student questions consistent with university, college/school, and department policies.
• Advise and provide online or in-person academic support to students as needed.
• Comply with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation policies.
