About The Position

Kendall Hunt Publishing is seeking an enthusiastic college student to fill a K-12 Editorial Intern position, with an emphasis on math and science K12 programs. This in-person internship, located in the home office in Dubuque, Iowa, offers the opportunity to explore the field of publishing while assisting in the development and production of print and digital educational products. Requirements

Proficient or knowledgeable of Internet software, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office and Google software programs
Takes initiative and is an independent thinker
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Detailed, proactive, and hard-working with experience balancing multiple tasks
Great communicator, people person and problem solver
A freshman, sophomore, or junior currently enrolled in a two or four-year college or university
Available to work during the summer months

Responsibilities

Work on educational materials developed in Google and Microsoft platforms
Collaborate on group projects with editors and designers
Learn our digital workflow and software development process and be plugged in at various stages
Review book pages for accuracy per author manuscript
Special projects and other duties as assigned
