The K-12 Coordinator for Visual and Performing Arts is responsible for the vision, leadership, and coordination of the district's arts education programs, including visual art, music, dance, and theater. This position supports curriculum development, instructional practices, and performance opportunities aligned with state standards, ensuring equitable access and high-quality arts education for all students. The Coordinator works collaboratively with school and district administrators, teachers, and community partners, and serves as an advocate for the role of the arts in a well-rounded education. The incumbent will be a member of the Woburn Administrators Association "Unit B".
