JV Boys Lacrosse Asst. Coach (Adjunct)
About The Position
Lake Highland's Athletics department seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach for the JV Boys Lacrosse team. This role focuses primarily on coaching and developing middle school and sub-varsity level players, with an emphasis on preparing them for a successful transition to varsity-level play. This is an adjunct, non-benefitted, seasonal position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply. Requirements
- Previous coaching experience at the high school level
- Strong understanding of player development and game strategy
- Educational background and interest in applying for potential academic or staff positions at the school
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the JV boys lacrosse program
- Assist with varsity practices, games, and program development
- Develop young athletes with a focus on skill-building, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Help facilitate the progression of players from sub-varsity to varsity level
