JV Baseball Coach
About The Position
Conval High School is looking for a JV Baseball head coach. The coach will work with the varsity staff to carry out the aims and objectives of the program as outlined by the Varsity Head Coach. The coach will instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her actions, words, and interactions with players, officials, and others. The coach is responsible for student safety, equipment, uniforms, and practice and game planning. Practices and games generally occur Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday games possible.
Responsibilities
- Work with the varsity staff to carry out the aims and objectives of the program as outlined by the Varsity Head Coach.
- Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training.
- Serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes.
- Responsible for student safety, equipment, uniforms, and practice and game planning.
