The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is accepting applications for a Juvenile Rehabilitation Employment Coordinator (JRS) to collaborate and coordinate the delivery of community supports for all young people served in the Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration Region by providing region-wide coordination of the research-based Employment and Education Training program, called MyJOB. You will use your leadership skills within the DCYF JR Regional primary and out-stationed offices and Community Facilities to assist young people residing in the community seeking employment. Your referrals to local employment support partners will assist young people in connecting with job readiness and employment pathways. To promote the hiring of JR young people you will keep current with local labor market trends and employment opportunities in both the private and public sectors and initiate and maintain ongoing personal contacts with a variety of business and industry representatives and job placement/training agencies.
