About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma required; degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to complete POST-certified Juvenile Detention Officer training within one year
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks
- CPR/First Aid and other safety certifications or ability to obtain
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with at-risk or justice-involved youth is a plus
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide youth in a safe, secure, and respectful environment
- Facilitate educational, recreational, and personal development activities
- Collaborate with justice partners, families, and treatment providers
- Respond to crises with professionalism and compassion
- Monitor safety, conduct intake screenings, and maintain detailed documentation
- Support youth through positive interactions, teaching social and life skills

- Competitive Pay: Starting at $23.83 to $25.96 per hour depending on experience. This position is eligible for $0.50/hour shift differential.
