Juvenile Corrections Officer - Clark County Juvenile Detention
About The Position
Clark County Juvenile Detention Center-SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY 2 Full time positions ( 1 day, 1night) 12 hour shifts: 6a-6p, 6p-6a with rotating schedule Juvenile Detention Facility currently accepting applications for juvenile correctional officers. You must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, at a minimum possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have clean state, national, & child protective services records checks, successfully complete a pre-employment physical. All applicants must complete 6 hours of training in house, 42 hours of on-the-job shadowing, a skill out test, and written test before being approved for full time employment. Experience working with youth is preferred. Juvenile correction officers maintain the safety and security of incarcerated youth in a maximum security facility. Hours vary and are based on your availability. Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holiday hours available. Full time positions are only filled from our part-time roster. We currently have openings on all shifts (day/night/weekends). Earning Overtime is possible at this time.
