The Justice Intervention Therapist will provide individual, family, and group counseling services to clients in community-based and office settings. This role will serve three programs in Lee County: Re-Entry, Veterans Court, and Mental Health Court. These programs serve clients who have been adjudicated in Lee County. Program participants include clients in need of treatment for a substance use disorder, as well as those with a co-occurring mental health diagnosis. This role will perform intake assessments, individual therapy, group counseling, and support clients in developing natural support systems. The goal of this program is to allow clients to reintegrate into society in a positive fashion. This position will work closely with community partners and local stakeholders to provide comprehensive care. As part of the community-based team, the therapist will meet with individuals in their own environments, such as the client's home, hospital, office, school, workplace, etc.
