Overview RPS is looking for a Junior Underwriter to join their growing team! This is a full-time fully remote role that is based in Houston, Texas. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Help review homeowners insurance applications for property and casualty coverage.
Work closely with field representatives to gather the information needed to make these decisions.
Process policy changes (endorsements), keep an eye on the underwriting mailbox, and respond to questions from agents and customers.
Provide great customer service will be a big part of your day-to-day work.
Assist Senior Underwriters with managing accounts and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
