About The Position

The Junior Trainer will support the firm’s learning and development initiatives by coordinating and assisting with the delivery of training programs across the organization. This role works closely with the Learning & Development team to ensure a seamless training experience, including onboarding, technology training, and firmwide development programs. Responsibilities include scheduling training sessions, managing registrations, coordinating logistics for both virtual and in-person trainings, and supporting live sessions through attendance tracking, chat monitoring, and basic troubleshooting. This position will also assist with maintaining and updating the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading course content, tracking participation and completion, and generating reports for internal stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include preparing training materials and resources, updating job aids and presentation content, and supporting onboarding programs. The Junior Trainer will also help distribute and compile training evaluations and provide administrative support for ongoing training initiatives and firmwide rollouts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach are essential, as this role interacts regularly with attorneys, staff, and cross-functional teams. Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively and demonstrate strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, along with the ability to create and format presentations and training materials. Proficiency in InTapp and iManage are strongly preferred. Experience with learning management systems or training coordination is preferred, and exposure to instructional design concepts is a plus. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Prior experience in training coordination, learning and development, or administrative support is also preferred.
