Lumida is reshaping how modern investors build and enables its clients to Invest Beyond the Ordinary. We are seeking a Trader with specialized skills in public equities and cryptocurrencies. Ideal for quantitatively adept individuals, this role is perfect for those with a background in high-performance environments and an athletic mindset.

Requirements

Obsessed about financial markets
3 to 5 years of experience trading in financial markets
Expertise in trading public equities and potentially digital assets
Adept and fluent in trading tools such as Trading View, Koyfin, FinViz
Contrarian but Curious
Accountability mindset, beginner’s mindset, always learning
Willingness to study and learn independently
History of high achievement in demanding environments
Competitive nature
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
ENTJ or INTJ personality type; systems thinker

Responsibilities

Implement long and short strategies developed by our research and portfolio management team.
Run a daily morning and afternoon process assessing positions and themes for deteriorations, identifying favorable entries.
Execute various trades, including market orders, limit orders, and hedging strategies and face off with our brokerage counterparties.
Actively review portfolios for tax loss harvesting opportunities and implement substitutions.
Track themes that are favorable or unfavorable using our in-house analytics platform.
Monitor portfolio net exposures to sectors, factors, and investment themes, suggesting exposure adjustments as necessary.
Remain up-to-date on market trends through research, translating insights into actionable strategies.
Use our backtesting engine to identify new strategies.
Maintain a culture of personal accountability and strive for excellence in market performance.
