Location: New York Desk: Asia FX Trading Role Overview We are seeking a Junior Trader to join the Asia FX Desk in New York. The role offers direct exposure to Asia FX markets and requires strong understanding of short‑term interest rate dynamics, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented trading environment.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of short‑term interest rates and their impact on FX markets
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (trading, structuring, or markets‑related role)
Solid understanding of Asia macro and FX market microstructure
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a real‑time trading environment

Comfortable working across regions and time zones

Responsibilities

Support day‑to‑day trading activities on the Asia FX desk
Monitor market developments across Asia FX and short‑term rates
Assist in risk management, position monitoring, and P&L tracking
Work closely with senior traders to execute strategies and manage franchise relationships
Contribute to market colour, trade ideas, and desk communication across time zones
