About The Position

Leidos Defense Sector is looking for a Junior Computer / Electrical Test Engineer to join a skilled team focused on developing innovative solutions for defense, aviation, missiles, and space systems. This role involves executing test plans and working with hardware testing platforms to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements

• ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent degree with 2+ years of experience or less than 2 years with MS degree.
• Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Executing test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
• Creating, modifying, and using Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
• Performing test data analysis.
• Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
