About The Position

Nelson Mullins law firm is looking for a entry-level tax associate to join its Affordable Housing and Tax Credit Team. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of an expanding team who shows up for their clients. This opportunity is open to multiple large markets. One of the fastest growing and most dynamic cities in the country, Orlando's economy is as diverse as our clients' needs. Our office occupies two floors of the 390 North building located in the heart of downtown Orlando with a view of Lake Eola. You will be joining a hard-working team that represents for-profit and nonprofit developers in the development, acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, operation and sale of affordable multifamily housing for families and seniors throughout the US utilizing a wide range of federal, state and local affordable housing programs.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience in partnership tax and ideally in federal income tax credits.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
• LLM in Taxation (preferred).
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communications skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow through.
• Member (in Good Standing) of any state bar.
