Sabre Systems is currently hiring for a Junior Systems Security Engineer (SSE) in Patuxent River, MD to support program and technology protection, systems security engineering, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and CYBERSAFE certification processes in accordance with applicable DOD/DON Instructions and/or Notices. Efforts under this task will include support to the System Security Engineering (SSE) team and its protection efforts; leadership counsel and advisement on all cyber topics; coordination with CYBERSAFE office for ongoing certification and NATIP development; preparation, configuration management, and maintenance of required documentation; and support to required cyber analyses, testing, certification, and authorization efforts. In this role, the candidate will: Assist with analyzing the cyber risk posture of networks and systems in support of systems engineering, Program Protection, RMF, and CYBERSAFE requirements. This support includes ongoing Cyber Survivability Risk Assessment (CSRA), Critical Program Information (CPI) assessment, support to Tri-Service Committee concept brief development, and analysis of test reporting and intelligence information within context of mission impact. It will require coordination across domestic and foreign military sales Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with the goal of united cyber engineering, secure software development, RMF, and cyber test efforts to ensure secure integration, testing, and maintenance of all platform networks/systems. Assist with developing and reviewing documentation to support policy compliance, acquisition gate requirements, workforce development, and cyber certification and authorizations. This may include, but is not limited to, development of Program Protection Plan (PPP), Letters of Concurrence (LOCs), Anti-Tamper Concepts and Plans, Cyber NATIP, CSRA reporting/out-briefs, Cyber Acquisition Strategy, Cyber Training, and input into broader program-level documentation and briefings as required. Assist with research and participate in use of NSA-managed technologies and authorization processes, secure architecture development, system configuration best practices, protection techniques, emerging technologies, cyber test planning and coordination with OPTEVFOR, NAVAIR Red Team, and program ITT, process efficiency improvements. Must possess subject matter expertise in the NIST 800 series of publications, DoD Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN) guidance, DoD acquisition, Navy Anti-Tamper Tech Warrant Holder equities, NAVAIR systems engineering, and NAVAIR RMF implementation.
