About The Position

As a Support Engineer at Flix, you can make an impact as the first point of contact for all IT Infrastructure related requests and reliably enabling our employees through service desk or on-site support. Our IT Infrastructure Support Team provides Flix with a wide range of services around the globe. The most important services are fully owned and managed by the team and include the employee device lifecycle based on Microsoft SCCM/Intune/Autopilot, our Atlassian cloud environment for product and project management, and technical event support.

Requirements

  • Degree, certification, or formal training in an IT-related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable vocational training)
  • First experience or strong interest in IT support, service desk, or technical customer support
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365 and common workplace tools
  • Interest in Microsoft cloud technologies (SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, Autopilot) — experience is a plus, not required
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
  • Comfortable communicating with non-technical users in a clear and friendly way
  • Enjoy working in an international, diverse, and collaborative environment
  • Structured, reliable, and eager to grow professionally

Responsibilities

  • Support employees with IT requests via our ticketing system
  • Assist with hardware provisioning, device setup, and basic asset management
  • Support collaboration tools such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with technical hardware located in our field offices (ticket vending machines, arrival/departure monitors, payment devices)
  • Help maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge-base articles
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior engineers while learning how to troubleshoot them
  • Learn our device management and IT infrastructure tools through hands-on experience
  • Participate in team ceremonies and collaborate with colleagues across regions
