Mobius is seeking a Junior Solution Epic Owner to support the National Reconnaissance Office’s (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) Integrated System Program Office (ISPO) delivering Overhead Persistent Infra-Red (OPIR) mission management, tasking, collection, processing & dissemination, as well as, integration with DoD Space Based Infra-Red System (SBIRS). The Junior Solution Epic Owner is a critical role within a program or organization, responsible for managing and delivering end-to-end solutions across various threads or workstreams. The role emphasizes high-level coordination, strategic alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that solution epics are effectively executed and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Ensure solution epics align with the organization's strategic vision and long-term goals (e.g., 2035 vision).
  • Collaborate with thread architects and Government thread leads to assess whether initiatives fit within the strategic roadmap and adjust as necessary.
  • Facilitate collaboration between program managers, engineers, risk managers, schedulers, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize agile methodologies and tools like JIRA to manage and track the progress of solution epics.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of solution epics, identifying and addressing any obstacles or challenges.
  • Support all delivery dates, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, align expectations, and address emerging needs.
  • Provide support for presentations to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Understanding of critical Trade Study & analysis and how they support high-level requirement development.
  • Support the development of high-level requirements and analyze CONOPs and architectures to ensure requirements are correctly allocated.
  • Understanding of the agile processes in high-level requirement development.
  • Knowledge of requirements, traceability, and verification in tool(s), such as Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).
  • Ability to support analysis and assessment of developer documents such as specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), APIs, and CDRLs for content, completeness, traceability, verification and validation.
  • Understand Thread Management process and how it applies end-to-end engineering across acquisitions, to achieve mission capabilities.
  • Support alignment and synchronization of acquisitions, planning, and support architecture and requirements analyses and trade studies using end-to-end mission engineering.
  • Knowledge of intelligence community (IC) operations, processes, and systems.
  • Familiarity with solution and program epics in an IC or defense context.
  • Experience in coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Background in technical or operational environments.
  • Domain Expertise: GEOINT, SIGNINT, or Intelligence Integration.
