About The Position

The Junior Software Testing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of innovative software products by executing various test cases, maintaining regression test suites, and interacting with clients. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in software and hardware testing, contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Requirements

• Working knowledge about Postman (or similar API testing tool), Firmware, Embedded Software, and Operating System
• Good knowledge about Linux commands (knowledge about MobaXterm is a plus)
• Software Development Life Cycle (Agile Development) experience preferred
• Embedded software and hardware experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge about reading and understanding different logs
• Experience using Jira or similar Product Lifecycle Management tool
• Experience with analytical and root cause analysis
• Good communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills

Responsibilities

• Work on a team to test new features and products
• Move unit to unit executing different test cases
• Maintain and execute Regression Test Suite
• Writing test plans and test cases, logging defects
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on different hardware and software issues
• Perform functionality, sanity, end-to-end system testing, and full regression testing
• Interact with clients directly and participate in daily reporting meetings
• Perform API testing and reading different types of logs
