AquaPhoenix Scientific, headquartered in Hanover, PA, is growing and looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our innovative technology team. This is a great opportunity to build your software development career by contributing to our AWS-hosted SaaS platform while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is a full-time position with benefits and is considered a remote work opportunity; however, applicants near the DFW metroplex area is preferred. Infrequent travel to the area will be required. Only candidates who are US citizens or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship will be considered.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop UI for a React and ReactJS products and services
  • Software development for both the platform and mobile applications
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings
  • Properly meet and manage tickets and PR deployment
  • Assist in building web and mobile applications using React and related technologies
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze user needs and develop software solutions
  • Help maintain and improve existing codebases
  • Work with senior engineers to learn and implement software best practices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Contribute to testing and debugging efforts
  • Participate with a talented team of engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  • 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships or academic projects welcome!)
  • Familiarity with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other frontend frameworks
  • Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or interest in learning
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and/or Git
  • Willingness to learn Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum is a plus
