  • Genuine interest in test automation and modern software quality practices.
  • A structured, curious mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and client–server architectures.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or similar).
  • Experience testing configurable applications or platform‑style products.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and maintenance of automated tests, focusing primarily on API and integration testing.
  • Help convert manual test cases into automated scenarios as the test suite evolves.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and contribute to identifying the root causes of failures.
  • Learn how to test public APIs, configuration‑driven features, and tenant‑specific behaviors in a multi‑tenant environment.
  • Assist in validating backward compatibility for existing APIs and functionality.
  • Work closely with developers to understand new features and improve overall testability.
  • Maintain clear and structured test documentation, and contribute to consistent reporting.
  • Gradually take ownership of smaller automation areas and focused test responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to analyze test behavior, refine test scenarios, and continue developing your skills in automation.
  • Work with developers to embed testing earlier in the development lifecycle (shift‑left approach).
