About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Software Engineer 2 standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. The Software Engineer 2 will: Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies Work with cloud native stack, build on Azure, AWS, or Google, use technologies like Kubernetes Write effective technical documentation and Implement authentication/authorization rules. Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages. Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and relevant IT experience
• 2+ years' experience in software engineering
• 2+ years' experience in at least one of the following: Java or Node.js
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service
• At least 1 year of experience in building micro frontends and/or micro services

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree
• Advance experience in Microsoft Azure
• Experience in Building Domain Driven Microservices
• Advance experience in building software with Cloud native technologies
• Experience in SASS, W3C Web Standards, Web performance, Cross-browser compatibility
• Advanced understanding of web modular design patterns

Responsibilities
