About The Position

We’re looking for a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our high-performing QA team. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who’s passionate about automation, excited to learn modern testing tools and frameworks, and ready to grow in a fast-paced Agile environment. You’ll help design and build automated test coverage for cloud-native, microservices-based applications—while learning new systems, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted testing tools along the way. It’s a role that balances learning and delivery, and we’re here to support you as you grow. This position works closely with developers, product owners, and fellow QA teammates to ensure we’re delivering high-quality, reliable software that supports creativity at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 0–2+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or automation (internships and projects welcome!)
  • Familiarity with programming in C# or another modern language
  • Exposure to automated testing in code (preferably .NET 5+ / .NET Core)
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Basic experience with relational databases and SQL for test validation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and continuous delivery practices
  • Exposure to RESTful API testing (Postman or similar tools)
  • Interest in AI-assisted coding or testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product owners and team members to identify features that need automated test coverage
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration and service-level automated tests for key workflows
  • Create and contribute to automated tests using C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with frameworks like Playwright
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot test failures and improve product quality
  • Support testing in a cloud-native, containerized environment using Kubernetes and microservices
  • Use AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve test generation, debugging, and workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile software development lifecycle
  • Learn, grow, and adapt as our systems and technologies evolve
