About The Position

The Junior Security Specialist position at PSI Pax involves supporting security administration processes for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP). The role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal and Department of Defense regulations while assisting in various security-related tasks and documentation preparation.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Security Fundamental Professional Certification (SFPC) or must obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
• A minimum of at least two (2) years of relevant experience in the areas stated in the functional description.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work well independently and interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide customer service both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Supports the process for SCI and SAP security administration.
• Performs security and administrative management of assigned SCI and SAP.
• Supports quality reviews of security work products and tracks project progress.
• Assists in planning of project resources and schedules.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal and Department of Defense acquisition regulations.
• Supports subject matter experts on DoD security policy and regulations.
• Prepares documentation required for customer.
• Processes personnel access requests.
• Prepares visit requests.
• Supports facility access control and implements facility standard operating procedures.
• Provides support for various security briefs (indoctrinations, debriefs, annual refresher).
• Supports compilation of documentation required for facility accreditation.
• Supports classified information reviews.
• Supports the implementation of media control procedures.
