The Opportunity: Jr. Sales Planner, Advertising Sales Are you passionate about digital media and excited to grow your career in advertising sales or marketing? The Jr. Sales Planner position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to work in the digital, out-of-home media industry. In this role, you will support our sales team by creating effective audience strategies and ensuring smooth transitions from pre-sales to post-sales processes. You will report to the VP of Planning and play a key role in shaping campaign strategy. You’ll work across departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, offering you a well-rounded perspective on how a digital media company operates. We’re looking for someone who’s solutions-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to make a meaningful contribution.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree with equivalent skills, plus 1 year of support experience in an advertising or marketing role (preferably within a media sales environment) or relevant internship experience.
  • A solid understanding of media math and concepts; familiarity with ad metrics, KPIs, and how they influence campaign success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for providing data-driven recommendations.
  • A highly organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gain proficiency with Captivate’s pricing and planning platform, Salesforce CRM, 3rd-party data tools, and other sales systems to manage advertiser opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement audience strategies that align with clients’ campaign objectives.
  • Support the sales team in crafting tailored proposals.
  • Collaborate across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns from end to end.
  • Provide efficient support to both internal teams and external clients, managing communications and workflow processes.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide insights and contribute to a solutions-oriented environment.
