Perry Ellis International is seeking a highly motivated Junior Sales Coordinator to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of our merchandise from order to delivery. Responsibilities

  • Validate EDI orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strategically allocate inventory across multiple warehouses to optimize fulfillment.
  • Process and meticulously track all orders, including make-up and stock orders, from inception to delivery.
  • Proactively manage order exceptions, including requesting distributions and extensions as needed.
  • Partner closely with Purchasing, Imports, Sales, Planning, and warehouse teams to expedite orders and resolve potential bottlenecks.
  • Serve as a key liaison, fostering clear communication and alignment across departments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Claims Department to efficiently resolve chargebacks, ensuring accurate information is provided.
  • Work closely with Inventory Control to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain meticulous records, reports, and documentation for future reference and analysis.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance within the sales team.
  • Follow up on special projects and ensure completion.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the supply chain process.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Associate's degree or professional certificates considered with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in retail or wholesale apparel supply chain operations preferred.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive/Applications and related software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
