About The Position

The Junior Risk Analyst at ManTech plays a crucial role in the Combat Integration and Identification Systems Engineering team by gathering and analyzing information from various Navy and Contractor entities. The position involves preparing reports, tracking action items, and keeping division leadership informed about the status of risks. The analyst will work closely with leadership to identify, assess, and prioritize risks, contributing to effective problem-solving and recommending improvements. This role is a hybrid position, combining on-site and remote work in St Inigoes, MD.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in risk analysis or data analysis
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university

• Experience using Microsoft tools for status tracking, technical editing, and presenting information
• Experience supporting the DOD in risk management, analysis, and mitigation

Responsibilities

• Assist project leads with drafting, updating, and reviewing risks and associated mitigation steps and preparing them for presentation
• Support managers in developing a risk management plan and assist with planning, monitoring, prioritizing risks, and performing risk mitigation planning
• Reviewing, updating, and managing configuration of technical documentation
• Providing oversight of small projects and improvement initiatives
• Analyzing and updating processes for improved efficiency
• Provide monthly status updates on risks for all projects to Division Branch Heads and Principal Engineer
