About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a talented Missile Defense Radar Analyst/Engineer to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development, test, and fielding of missile defense radar systems. As a Junior Radar Engineer/Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: The selected candidate will work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software & hardware, and all-digital representations of complex missile defense radars such as AN/TPY-2 TM, LRDR, SBX, UEWR, and CD. Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex hardware devices and/or systems. Diagnoses malfunctions in existing products and makes improvements or modifications to produce desired results. Compiles and evaluates design and test data and prepares technical specifications. Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products and/or processes.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2 years related engineering or related discipline experience.
  • Ability to collaborate in a multi-contractor team environment to respond to short-notice requests for data.
  • Ability to work independently to develop new analysis tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Currently holds an active secret level security clearance to access classified information.

Responsibilities
