About The Position
We are seeking a Junior QA Automation Engineer to support automated testing initiatives for web, API, and cloud-based applications using modern testing frameworks.
Requirements
- Automation Frameworks: Playwright or Cypress (preferred)
- Programming: JavaScript or Python
- API Testing: Postman / REST APIs
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps (basic exposure)
- Databases: SQL (mandatory)
- Testing Concepts: Shift-left testing, test data management
- Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
- 6 months – 2 years Experience
- US Citizens and Green Card holders considered
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute regression, smoke, and API tests
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, log, and track defects
- Validate data using SQL queries
