About The Position

The position requires proficiency in government property regulations and systems, as well as the ability to develop, maintain, and coordinate administrative and event schedules. The candidate will be responsible for creating protocol products such as briefing papers, scripts, invitations, itineraries, and other forms of written communication. Additionally, the role involves handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Classified information according to established programs and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years completed college courses and 2 years' relevant protocol experience.
  • 4 years of relevant protocol experience supporting the Federal Government or DOD can substitute for education requirements.
  • 2 years' experience planning, coordinating, and executing logistical support for events.
  • 2 years' experience and knowledge of military regulations, customs, and courtesies.
  • 2 years' experience managing government protocol events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain administrative and event schedules.
  • Create protocol products including briefing papers, scripts, invitations, and itineraries.
  • Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Classified information according to regulations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute logistical support for conferences, meetings, ceremonies, and official events.
  • Manage and coordinate government protocol events, including scheduling venues and transportation.
  • Accommodate distinguished visitors and coordinate audio/video requirements.
