About The Position

We have an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join our Product Operations team based hybrid in Tacoma, WA, reporting to the Director, Product and Business Operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Daily tasks will include planning project stages and assessing business implications, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing project plans, and communicating project status to stakeholders. They will also coordinate the work through both process creation and project management and be able to lead, communicate and organize effectively. The Product Operations Team is responsible for driving the End-End operations in delivering the quality products in a timely manner for various programs by collaborating with various stakeholder teams across the organization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in program/project management ideally in the networking and security industry.
  • Knowledge of Collaborative Platforms and associated applications (Microsoft Office 365, JIRA, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Desire to learn more about both business process Improvement, as well as project management; certifications in these fields can be pursued.
  • Passionate about evaluating, synthesizing, organizing information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development.
  • Desire to learn and a receptiveness to feedback and mentoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage New Product Introduction projects for the larger Product Organization which would entail delivering quality products in a timely manner to the customers.
  • Use project management skills to keep the project on track and communicate the progress effectively with all stakeholder teams including executive management.
  • Lead projects with collaboration across geographic teams.
  • Demonstrate deeper knowledge of commonly-used concepts, best practices and procedures associated with Program management and operations.
  • Work independently with minimal instructions provided, using discretion on the operational aspects to perform the functions of the job effectively.
