About The Position

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of the Critical Systems’ sales team and plays a key role in executing projects while maintaining strong internal processes and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for all aspects of project execution including coordination between vendors and customers, financial project management and customer service. Daily responsibilities span the full project lifecycle—from order processing through closeout—ensuring timelines, communication, and documentation are consistently managed to support both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in the construction industry preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in project administration, project accounting, scheduling, and scope management
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, SharePoint and Trello or similar.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and strong time management

Responsibilities

  • Support sales engineers with project execution; order processing, and coordination and communication with vendors and customers
  • Manage and administer multiple projects on a daily basis, tracking equipment, deliveries, and key project milestones
  • Process and manage customer purchase orders and create corresponding vendor orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in SharePoint and internal systems
  • Monitor project progress and project costs and proactively makes adjustments to deliver at or under budget without sacrificing customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates service/technical support during start-up and throughout warranty period.
  • Develops relationships with vendors and customers and provides support as necessary.
  • Prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Collaborate with team members while following established processes and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, when required.
