About The Position

The Junior Power BI role involves leading discovery and design work sessions to clarify requirements and produce deliverables such as mock-ups and flow diagrams. The candidate will manage the implementation of demand items to meet customer needs and create, manage, and administer Power Platform solutions related to governance, administration, and operations management. This position requires close collaboration with Project Managers, IT, and business management on multiple development projects to translate complex business requirements into architectural designs, ensuring successful Power Platform solution implementation. Additionally, the role includes developing software that controls power platforms, monitoring their performance, and transmitting data to external systems. The candidate will also develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform products, support business applications, reports, and workflows, and provide maintenance and enhancements of Power Platform application systems in both test and production operations. Troubleshooting application issues and defining best practices for Power Platform services are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience with the Power Platform development life cycle.
• Experience in customizing database forms, fields, views, workflows, and BI reports/dashboards.
• Strong practical experience across the full set of Microsoft Power Platform components.
• Proficient with SharePoint Online, .Net, Power Platform suite including Power BI, SQL, and programming languages.
• Exceptional verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of process governance and improvement methodologies.
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and design work sessions to obtain requirements clarity and produce deliverables.
• Manage the Demand items implementation to meet customer needs.
• Create, manage, and administer Power Platform solutions related to governance, administration, and operations management.
• Guide the implementation of Power Platform services and the adoption of approved services and products.
• Work closely with Project Managers, IT, and business management on multiple development projects.
• Translate complex business requirements into architectural design.
• Develop software that controls the power platforms and monitors their performance.
• Develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform products: Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Support business applications, reports, and workflows with a Power Platform solution.
• Provide day-to-day maintenance and enhancements of Power Platform application systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot application issues and manage issue resolution or escalation.
• Define best practices for all Power Platform services and document operational processes.
