About The Position

The Junior Planner supports operational flow by assisting in production scheduling, material coordination, and inventory planning. This role ensures that inbound assets, processing capacity, and outbound demand remain aligned to maintain operational efficiency and inventory velocity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Previous Leadership experience
• Previous experience with ERP systems

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, warehouse operations, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecast data, and resource availability.
• Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Monitor production schedules and capacity constraints, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing demands. Communicate schedule updates and adjustments to Plant Manager and operations teams. Escalate scheduling conflicts to the Plant Manager.
• Collaborate with the procurement teams including procurement, logistics, and processing to optimize inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials needed for production and reduce lead times
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, production metrics, resource utilization, updating daily, and weekly production schedules.
• Utilize planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and production efficiency. Monitor work order progress and support schedule adherence tracking.
• Support the preparation of reports and presentations for management review.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with business goals.
