The Junior PKI Administrator supports and provides superior customer service. PKI support is direct support of customer certificate issues and PKI system-related issues. Located in Springfield, VA, this role is part of a team that supports large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology.

  • Provide support to the agency's efforts to manage and monitor Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Programs.
  • Serve as a PKI Registration Authority.
  • Conduct face-to-face user validation.
  • Provide training.
  • Support development, maintenance, and management of policies.
  • Maintain awareness of and competency with new and developing protocols, specifications, techniques, and standards.
  • Coordinate and resolve Information Assurance-related trouble tickets in connection with PKI.
  • Create installation and training documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree and 4+ years' experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years' experience.
  • Relevant experience in operational experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community.
  • DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level II: CCNA-Security; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE (within 6 months).
  • TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Poly.
  • Ability to work Shift hours. Shift will be identified upon hire.
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
