Join our Administrative Team as a Junior Paralegal located in our Orlando office. We are seeking a highly skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively across teams and delivering exceptional service. This role will be based in our Orlando office, on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to the Managing Shareholder.

Requirements

  • Two years' experience working in a professional organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and terminology, with the ability to support attorneys in managing case-related tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation.
  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision and take a proactive approach in being team oriented.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with litigation support software, case management platforms, and e-discovery tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Indexing/summarizing client files, productions, and other electronically stored documents.
  • Receiving, downloading, troubleshooting, and organizing deliveries of the above.
  • Prepares and drafts routine correspondence, memoranda, and emails related to litigation cases.
  • Assists with litigation-specific tasks, such as preparing discovery responses, organizing exhibits, and compiling case materials.
  • Maintains and updates physical and electronic case files, including pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Conducts basic document review, light legal research, and assists with e-discovery processes.
  • Coordinates and schedules litigation calendars, including court appearances, depositions, and deadlines.
  • Reserves conference rooms and prepares materials for litigation-related meetings and conferences.
  • Assists with trial preparation, including creating trial binders, organizing evidence, and coordinating logistics.
  • Performs additional duties as required, including providing support to other departments and Greenberg Traurig offices as needed.
