About The Position

The Junior Paralegal is responsible for managing case-related administrative functions, supporting attorneys, and ensuring a high level of client communication and satisfaction. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and the firm, maintaining organization, accuracy, and momentum across all assigned cases. The Junior Paralegal/Paralegal is expected to work independently, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the legal team. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, responding to inquiries, and relaying information and documentation to attorneys with professionalism and discretion Coordinate case progress by tracking milestones, managing deadlines, maintaining calendars, and following up with clients on case requirements, including payment plan adherence Accurately record time entries and ensure all case activities are properly documented in the case management system Collect, review, organize, and maintain client documentation and files in accordance with firm standards Draft and analyze client financial summaries, including assets, liabilities, income, and expenses Support attorneys with case preparation, administrative tasks, and execution of case strategy through strong organization and follow-through Manage outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and fax communications Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case records, and close cases in accordance with firm policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned by attorneys or leadership

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of two years of client-facing experience in a professional office environment (Legal, financial, corporate, medical, or similar structured setting)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in: Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Adobe

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal certificate
  • Experience in: Tax law, Bankruptcy law, or Real estate law
  • Familiarity with financial documents and terminology

Responsibilities
