About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Logistics Operations Specialist to support DSP (Delivery Service Partner) management and operational performance analysis. This role combines DSP operational coordination with data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate must possess advanced Excel skills and strong Python capabilities to analyze logistics data, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query; VBA a plus).
  • Strong Python skills for data analysis (Pandas required).
  • Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in logistics or last-mile delivery operations.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or BI tools.
  • Understanding of KPI frameworks and operational performance metrics.
  • Interest in operational optimization and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Logistics Data Analysis & KPI Monitoring
  • Use Python (Pandas, data processing libraries) to analyze delivery performance, route efficiency, cost data, and service quality metrics.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards using advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, dynamic models).
  • Monitor key performance indicators including on-time rate, delivery success rate, exception rate, complaint rate, and unit cost.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies through data analysis and support root cause investigations.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize routing efficiency, labor productivity, and capacity utilization.
  • DSP Operational Management
  • Maintain DSP partner records including contracts, insurance, deposits, and compliance documentation.
  • Track DSP performance metrics and flag risks related to SLA breaches or service quality issues.
  • Assist with DSP onboarding, renewal, and exit processes.
  • Support DSP system access management and compliance verification.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams to resolve DSP-related operational issues.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Automate recurring reports using Python or advanced Excel tools.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing trends and proposing process enhancements.
  • Maintain SOP documentation and KPI tracking templates.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and support other operational tasks as assigned by management
