  • Discover, identify, and inventory all network assets and asset information (model, version, etc) in your respective area of responsibility.
  • Build an understanding of the network assets and the roadmap to quickly assess the impact of vulnerabilities and identify End-of-Life/End-of-Support hardware/software.
  • Assist with developing a baseline of normal operations and implement threat detections that alert of deviations to proactively identify potential cyber threats.
  • Assist in incident response efforts, including troubleshooting and investigating cybersecurity incidents.
  • Understand the current state of cybersecurity and improve the security posture through the implementation of the Network Security Fundamentals (Access Management, Situational Awareness, Configuration Hardening, Vulnerability Mitigation).
  • Ownership and accountability for the network security scorecard and help drive increased maturity, visibility, and subject-matter expertise.
  • Ensuring that the security controls planned for the Networks are operating effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of relevant work experience.
  • One or more years of relevant work experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Basic understanding of networks, 4G/5G wireless network functions or virtualization technologies like Openstack and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interest in learning and developing network and cybersecurity expertise.
  • Experience with Splunk or other data analysis tools.
  • Network or Security certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, ITILv4 or similar.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
  • Demonstrated organization and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of technical product and systems development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
