Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree and 1+ year of IT-related experience, including Network Administration.
• Basic Networking TCP/IP, IPv4 and troubleshooting analysis.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices.
• Understanding of Access Control Lists.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Linux Distros.
• SSL certificate generation.
• IAT Level II Certified Security + Certified.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with virtual environments such as ESXi, ProxMox.
• Familiarity with implementing DOD STIGs.
• Scripting with PowerShell, batch, Ansible, or chef.
• System monitoring experience.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP.
• Event Log analysis and Intrusion Analysis.
• Knowledge of WSUS and vulnerability scanning including Nessus.
• Current Cisco Certified - CCNA and above.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of complex information systems.
• Maintain and update physical systems and virtual environments, networking solutions, processes, and architectures.
• Support the design, documentation, and implementation of enhancements to the system.
• Ensure maximum system uptime and rapidly respond to hardware and software failures.
• Diagnose operational, performance, or other issues and lead the implementation of resolutions.
