About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a respected regional bank in Little Rock to identify an experienced Junior Mortgage Loan Processor for a temporary assignment supporting the bank's mortgage division during a period of high loan volume. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient and accurate loan operations by preparing complete loan files for underwriting.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in mortgage processing, loan support, or a related function.
• Proficiency with Encompass software is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with income calculation methods and loan documentation standards.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files efficiently.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize loan files within Encompass software.
• Order and review verifications such as employment, income, assets, and credit documentation.
• Calculate borrower income using pay stubs, W-2s, and tax returns.
• Prepare and assemble all required materials for underwriting review.
• Track loan progress and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
• Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to resolve missing or incomplete items.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies and federal lending regulations.
