Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Junior Master Control Operator to join our Media Operations & Engineering team based in our Bethpage, NY office.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Basic knowledge and fundamental computer skills.
Have good written and verbal skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Attention to detail and good time management.
Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment and work a flexible schedule which could include overnights, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Follow and adhere to master control standard operating procedures.
Effectively communicate with peers and management team when escalating on-air issues.
Work under supervision and to be able to take direction from others.
Can stay alert for long periods of time.
To learn how to learn to read and understand a network playlist on Harris/Imagine systems
Escalate discrepancies to peers, management team and engineering.
Report and write up any on-air discrepancy that occur during your shift.
Basic understanding of audio and video levels.
